Basketball

We are excited to announce that basketball tryouts for both boys and girls will be on the following dates:

  • Dates: Monday, November 9 and Tuesday, November 10
  • Time: 2:30–3:30 PM
  • Location: La Mesa
  • Final Rosters Posted: Thursday, November 12

Students who make the team should plan to attend practice the following week, Monday through Thursday (11/16-11/19), from 1:00–2:00 PM (practice times have been adjusted due to early release days for parent teacher conferences). 

Important Registration and Medical Physical Form Requirements

All students planning to try out must be registered through SportsNet and have a completed, signed physical form from their physician uploaded to their SportsNet account before tryouts. Go to the "SportsNet Registration" section on the La Mesa website for basketball for more information and instructions on how to register your student on SportsNet. There is also a link to download a printable copy of the physical form. 

Please make sure all requirements are completed before tryouts so your student is eligible to participate. 

*If your student has already been cleared through SportsNet this school year for soccer or volleyball, you DO NOT need to register again or upload another physical form. They are cleared for all sports for the 2026-2027 school year.
