About La Mesa School

Our students receive a rigorous, challenging education set with high standards. Teachers and support staff work hard to make sure students practice the four C's of education: critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity. Lessons are centered around student needs and teachers work hard to diversify instruction, giving students several ways to demonstrate their learning. Our state test scores show that over 60% of our students perform at or above grade level in reading and math.

Our population consists of several military families. We have students from all over the world. This includes, but is not limited to: Mongolia, Kenya, Italy, Germany, Georgia, Chile, Malaysia, Ecuador, Korea, Afghanistan, Belgium, Russia, Japan, Mexico, and Pakistan. With over 30 languages and dialects on our campus, we are proud to say that we are the most diverse campus in the school district!

Student Population

Our population has increased! As of the 2023-2024 school year, we have transitioned to a TK-8th grade school. We have added a new building of classrooms, and our campus is still under construction to support our growing enrollment. We are so grateful to have expanded and are looking forward to our campus completion soon.
